Massage at Schiphol on a weekend between two working weeks
Two weeks of work with a weekend in the middle, and a flight home and back again that makes no sense. Many visitors stay put in their airport hotel instead, and the weekend becomes the only part of the trip with any time in it.
A Friday evening in a business hotel by the runways, with the next meeting on Monday, can feel like being stranded. The offices of Schiphol-Rijk and Schiphol-Oost are shut, the hotel bar is half empty, and the city is a train ride away. A massage at Schiphol on that weekend is one of the few things that needs no planning, and it can be booked at an hour that a working week never allows.
Daytime is possible
On weekdays nearly everyone books in the evening. A weekend frees the afternoon, and plenty of guests choose a session at two or three o'clock, after a late breakfast and a walk, with the rest of the day left open afterwards. The house takes bookings around the clock, so a Saturday afternoon is as simple to arrange as a Tuesday night, with the journey time agreed in exactly the same way.
Longer than a weeknight
With no alarm set for the next day, the weekend is when a longer session makes sense. Two hours lets a slow format unfold properly; three hours is a different kind of evening altogether, with time to talk, to pause and to begin again. Weekend guests also ask for four hands more often than weeknight ones, because two therapists at once needs a free evening and a room with a little space in it.
Massage at Schiphol or in town on Saturday
Some visitors spend Saturday in Amsterdam and come back to the airport hotel at night. Others move into a city hotel for the weekend. Both work. A city address is reached in forty to sixty minutes from confirmation, the airport is visited by arrangement with an agreed journey time, and the rates are identical on both. The comparison of the two maps explains where the deposit and the timing differ.
Booking the weekend early
Weekend evenings fill before weekday ones. If you know on Wednesday that you are staying, write then, naming the day and the length you want; the deposit of half confirms it, and one change of date costs nothing if you ask more than a day before the booked time.
